History
Co-Operative Arts and Science College is a unit of Thrissur Taluk Co-operative College Educational Society Ltd. No R728, Established in the year 1983, and registered under the Kerala Co-Operative Societies Act 1969. The motto of this Institution is to provide Quality education to the students belonging to the middle class family and other neglected sections at a affordable cost. The college is situated in the heat of town but far away from bustles (Near North Bus stand and Thiruvambady Sreekrishna temple, Thrissur)

Composite development is the aim of education. With humble motives, we are moulding noble minds to conquer the heights of life insisting discipline. The glory lies in imparting knowledge through sincere dedication. Besides academic merits, we underpin cultural heritage. Various organizations are at the college to reveal the hidden calibers and potentials of the students

Activities
NIFA   (Nature's Intimate Friends Association)
NIFA, Inaugurated by the renowned environmentalist, Smt. Medha Patkar in 1993. Through this association our students try to preserve natural beauty by planting trees and there by stopping soil-erosion. NIFA has been honoured with many awards from the district and state level authorities for having intimacy with the nature.View Photos
SOUL (Students' Organisation for Ultimate Liberation) & BLOOD CELL   

SOUL always keeps awareness among students to keep an anti-approach to liquors and narcotics and to achieve ultimate liberation.
Blood cell keeps awareness among students, the significance of blood donation. It has been honoured with many awards from the district and state level authorities. It achieved first place in "Kalalayathullikal" (A blood donation project for students conducted by IMA) Project by donating maximum blood when compared to other educational institutions of the state. Our college was honored as the Best Blood Donating Institution of Thrissur District for the last 5 years by IMA View Photos
Aksharam  (Literary Exposure - Sahitya Vedi)
Aksharam Sahithya Vedi was inaugurated by Late Sri. C.V.Sriraman (Story Writer) in the year 2006. Aksharam Sahithya Vedi makes the students to reveal their inherent creative talents especially in literal exposure. In every month it released a little Magazine for the exposure of the talented students. It organizes book-fair, short film festivals and film festivals in our campus. View Photos
